The Ethical Code from Imagine Canada

Imagine Canada recently launched an invitation to participate in building The Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code, by signing on or before April 1, 2008.
The Code lays out standards for charitable organizations to manage and report their financial affairs responsibly.
As a Code Builder you will receive:
- recognition as a Code Builder on Code material, signifying your status as an early adopter of the program
- an invitation to join Imagine Canada on February 13 for a virtual Q & A through Imagine Canada’s SectorCast series – from the convenience of your office
- the opportunity to be profiled in a special spring supplement on the Ethical Code in Maclean’s magazine
- use of the Ethical Code trustmark to signal to your supporters your commitment to accountability and transparency in your work
Besides commitment to the guidelines in the Ethical code, a biennial fee - ranging from $100 to $4,000 - based on the annual revenue of the charity is required.
