YIP - Youth In Philanthropy
Just imagine a community with its youth actively involved in philanthropy. We all know our youth can be very enthusiastic and passionate about how and why they are involved in supporting causes important to them, their community and their future. A toolkit has been designed to help youth in nonprofits follow their mission and reach their goals. The toolkit can easily be adapted for other nonprofits.
Imagine Canada recently launched an invitation to participate in building The Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code, by signing on or before April 1, 2008.
The Code lays out standards for charitable organizations to manage and report their financial affairs responsibly.
