Q6: I am looking for a specific resource. How can I find it easily?
If you know the exact title, type it in the “Title” section; if not, you can search for the title by keywords, such as “fundraising”, or by clicking on letter “F” on the alphabetical list.
You can also search by subject in our drop-down menu, or you can retrieve information about a library item by searching for its author, in the “author” section. For more information, access our How to Search our Library Resources menu.

Q10: How is your library different from our local public library or Imagine Canada’s library?
The resources in our library have been collected and filtered for their relevance to nonprofit and voluntary sector work in rural communities. Your public library and the John Hodgson Library at www.nonprofitscan.ca are excellent library resources for the nonprofit and charitable sectors.

Q11: Is there any way to submit a request after business hours?
The online information form can be used to contact the Librarian after hours. Please complete the form with your contact information and as much detail as you can provide. If you provide a telephone number or e-mail address, our Librarian will contact you within one business day.
You don’t need to be a member of the Network to submit a request for information or to provide a resource to be considered in the library.
During business hours you may want to try our Ask a Librarian feature.
